What's going on in IISE?

Officer Elections

Autumn semester is coming to an end and that means elections are right around the corner. Elections will be taking place this Wednesday, November 17th at 7 pm. Running for a position in IISE is a great way to get more involved and have a great impact on the future of our club!

If you are interested in running but are unsure what positions are available, check out this document for more information! Also, if you are curious about a certain position, come to our officer coffee chats to hear our experiences!

To run for a position, please fill out this slide and email it to Josh Harris.2799 by *TONIGHT*

*Make sure you are an active member if you want to run for a position. Reach out to Erin Abramczyk.8 if you need to know your standings.

Apparel's Here

Apparel has finally arrived! I will be handing out everyone's apparel during officer elections this Wednesday at 7 pm! If you cannot make it to the elections, I will also be sitting at the entrance of Baker on Friday from 11 am-1 pm! If neither of these dates/times work for you, please email me (derge.5) so I can get you your swag! Also, if you have not paid for your apparel, please please Venmo OSUIISE!

*This also includes the senior stoles. I will have them on Wednesday and Friday too!

Cohort Bonding

The next cohort event will be at the OSU Women's Volleyball Game versus PSU at the Covelli Center on November 21st at 3:00 pm. We really encourage your cohort to meet up and go to the game together. It is free for all students!

Next Happy Hour

November's happy hour is here! Please join us this Friday, November 19th from 7-9 pm at Threes Above High. We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!

Senior Stoles

If you are a senior graduating this fall, make sure to fill out this form to get your stole. You must be an active member (>= 6 membership points) in order to get yours for free. If you are unsure about your current points, reach out to Erin Abramczyk.8.

Coffee Chats

Coffee chats are back this semester. Come (virtually) talk to our officers about classes, resumes, past internships, etc. It is a great way to meet people in the club and to become more involved. And you get +1 membership point just for showing up! Click this link to look at all of the officers' times.

Cohort Update

Keep meeting with your cohorts! We have loved seeing the participation so far amongst all the groups. Currently, Cohort 2 is in the lead with Cohort 6 and 1 close behind. Just a reminder that each time you get together with your cohort or attend a cohort event, you get a point! The cohort with the most points at the end of the semester gets a gift card! Next event coming soon :)

Make sure to fill out this form to get your points!

IISE Doing Things!

Have you done something with your cohorts, class members, consulting teams, etc? Hopefully, that answer is yes! If so, take pictures!! We want to post on Instagram/IISE branding platforms of all the fun things that we do! Submit your photos here!

We're Using .ics Calendar Files

Downloadable Outlook calendar files are now being included in emails. This will allow you to add events and event details to your calendar without manually inputting all the information! I personally think it saves tons of time and Outlook even reminds you of upcoming events. If you've never added an .ics file to your calendar, you can find instructions on how to do so here.
